The Ratnagunasamcayagatha
One of the earliest Perfection of Wisdom texts
Wednesday, 22 September (6pm) to Sunday, 26 September (after lunch)
With Sagaramati
For all Dharma practitioners with a serious interest in textual study.
Compared to later Perfection of Wisdom scriptures, the first two chapters of the Ratnagunasamcayagatha are less conceptual and relatively accessible. They cover the defining characteristics of the Perfection of Wisdom. Some consider them to be a restatement of earlier mainstream Buddhist teachings, bringing out their implications.
We will study the text and give time for individual reflections and meditation.
Suggested donation £120. Accommodation £15/10 per night.
Please book early. Our teachers put a lot of preparation into the seminars — sometimes several weeks of work. We would find it irresponsible to let them do all that and then cancel the even at short notice due to lack of participants.
If you consider attending, but aren’t as yet certain, please let us know. By booking early, you can help us prevent disappointment on all sides.
