Satipatthana — living with awareness

Friday, 9 April (6pm) to Sunday, 18 April (after lunch)

With Vajradevi

For Order Members only.

Bhante has said we should aim to be aware of what is in our minds at all times — but how do we do this? Participants on this retreat will be offered tools to help explore mindfulness and related qualities and invited to investigate what helps continuity of awareness.

The retreat is suitable for those wishing to focus on themes from the Satipatthana Sutta covered in the new FWBO Dharma training course for Mitras. Both those intending to lead the module and other practitioners who simply wish to deepen their understanding of Satipatthana in its samatha and vipassana aspects are welcome. There will be some silence, discussion periods and led meditation.

Suggested donation for the seminar: £ 270. Accommodation £15/10 per night.

Please book early. Our teachers put a lot of preparation into the seminars — sometimes several weeks of work. We would find it irresponsible to let them do all that and then cancel the even at short notice due to lack of participants.

If you consider attending, but aren’t as yet certain, please let us know. By booking early, you can help us prevent disappointment on all sides.
