Expressing and Transforming Anger Fully

Friday, 14 May (6pm) to Sunday, 16 May (after lunch)

With Shantigarbha

Open to all Dharma practitioners with a regular meditation practice.

Drawing on Shantideva and NVC, we will practise how to transform and express anger (and its cousins, guilt, shame and depression) fully.

This seminar is for people who want to get to the core of their anger and transform it skilfully. We will:

  • Develop our skills and understanding with the ‘Anger, Guilt, Shame and Depression’ Dance Floor. (Dance Floors are spatial maps of the NVC process which we lay on the floor and walk through – hence Dance Floors).
  • Learn how to express anger fully without blame, attack or threat.
  • Learn how to receive anger in ways that increase safety, respect and understanding.

Shantigarbha is an internationally certified NVC trainer and teaches in the Europe, the US and Asia. He is currently writing a book on Empathy.

Suggested donation: £60. Accommodation: £15/10 per night.

Please book early. Our teachers put a lot of preparation into the seminars — sometimes several weeks of work. We would find it irresponsible to let them do all that and then cancel the even at short notice due to lack of participants.

If you consider attending, but aren’t as yet certain, please let us know. By booking early, you can help us prevent disappointment on all sides.
